How I Work – Residential Property Photography

This guide explains what to expect before, during, and after a photoshoot for residential properties, and outlines responsibilities so everything runs seamlessly.

Pre-Booking

Enquiry: I’ll confirm availability, discuss your requirements, and recommend the most suitable package.

Quote & Agreement: A flat rate or custom price is agreed based on the size of the property and any add-ons required (floorplans, 360° tours, drone).

Confirmation: Once agreed, the shoot is scheduled, and you’ll receive booking details.

Before the Shoot

Booking Confirmation: Appointments are confirmed via text message. At this stage, I’ll also send over my Staging Guide so the property can be prepared ahead of time.

Preparation: Vendors/agents are responsible for ensuring the property is cleaned, decluttered, and staged in line with the guide.

Access: Please make sure keys are available at the agreed time, or that someone is present to let me in.

On the Day of the Shoot

Arrival: I’ll introduce myself and carry out a quick walkthrough of the property.

Adjustments: If needed, I may suggest small tweaks (e.g., moving an item, opening blinds). I do not provide props, cleaning, or full staging.

Photography: I’ll capture the required images, focusing on the best angles, composition, and lighting.

Add-Ons: If requested, I’ll complete floorplans, 360° tours, or drone photography once the main stills are finished.

After the Shoot

Editing: All images are professionally edited for lighting, colour balance, and clarity.

Turnaround: Edited images are delivered within 2–3 working days via a secure online gallery on my website.

File Format: Images are supplied as high-resolution JPEGs. Alternative formats can be provided on request.
